“Brett Kavanaugh was hand-picked to be a rubber stamp on @realDonaldTrump’s anti-health
care agenda. That’s why health care is on the line if Kavanaugh is confirmed.

Protect
Our Care is an organization that is set out to strictly go against Republican’s
views and protect healthcare for all particularly women. This tweet by them
clearly represents their views and since Brett Kavanaugh is a republican and
conservative, they do not agree about his views regarding abortion and healthcare.
Below this tweet, they included a video about a woman who is severely sick and
is worried about the repercussions about being in the hospital. She sits there
and looks off in the distance and is concerned about her side effects,
including the bills she will have to pay if she does not have proper
healthcare.
This
tweet is intended to stir emotions and excite readers to vote against
Kavanaugh. The video evokes the viewers’ emotional side by displaying a woman
who cannot support herself anymore and is upset about her physical and
financial conditions. Additionally, the video uses dreary hues, such as a dull
blue and grays to indirectly set a dull and sad mood for the entirety of the
video. By posting this video, Protect Our Care hopes to reach out to as many
people as possible, but primarily is exposed to the youth and young adults due
to the medium, Twitter.
